US Navy Etched Sword w/ D grip
United States Navy sword with straight single edge blade. Etched panels over the blade with some inscription and ornate motifs. Handle in brass with heavy gilt finish worn from age and use. Single downturned quillion. Heavily pierced to guard with designs of foliage and acorns to the background of the letters (USN). D-shaped hand guard to fitted pommel all in matching gilt brass. Handle in white ray skin with gilt brass wire wrapping absent. Size 36 1/2" L, blade 30 1/2" L
