Antique Sterling Silver Belt Buckle, circa 1800s - Large sterling silver (85 grams) German belt buckle with fine scalloped decoration. Hallmarked with letters J & K surrounding a swan. German J. Kurz swan mark in operation out of Hanau, Germany from 1848-1961. Additional mark to the side near one hinge illegible. A third mark to the reverse left of the original hallmark appearing to be a shield or heraldic symbol. Size 3 1/4” L x 3” W Ex-Arizona Private Collection
