Profusely Silver Inlaid Saddle Axe w/Hidden Dagger - Wonderful all-steel Indo-Persian all steel silver inlaid saddle axe. Probably late 19th century. The shaft, ventral spike, and axe head all heavily inlaid in finely detailed silver floral motifs. Round shaft with a turned pommel at the base which removes to reveal a hidden dagger internally. Central spike a double edge with diamond cross-section. Axe head single edged face. Size 23” L Ex-Southern California Collection Condition: good condition overall
