Early Torador Matchlock Gun, India - 18th-19th century Indian Torador Matlock rifle. Strong heavy wood stock with hand carved bone inlays. Heavily textured Damascus steel barrel with details at the neck and an octagonal flared tip with an added gold or copper band. Leather tightly wrapped in two sections of the barrel to the stock. Size 62 1/2” L, barrel 41 1/2” L Condition: Ramrod missing, minor cracks and losses to stock at the barrel, wear commensurate with age and use.
