U.S. 1860 Civil War Cavalry Sword & Scabbard - U.S. Civil War 1860 Cavalry Sword. Gilt brass three bar guard to fitted pommel. Wrapped leather grp with twisted brass wire over. Single edged curved blade with wide shallow fuller. Scabbard in black painted steel with dual belt loops and remnants of leather. Stamped with various numbers to the underside of the guard. Additional proof marks to the top of the pommel. Stamped 100 to the top of the D shaped guard. Size 42” L, blade 33 1/2” L Ex-San Diego Collection
