Sulawesi Sword & Scabbard - 19th century Sulawesi Labo to Dolo of the Sa'dan-toraja tribe sword with scabbard. Handle carved with decorated patterns. Stright single edge blade with surface oxidization. Wood carved and rattan wrapped scabbard with several fine sections of very tight finely wrapped rattan bands. Size 27” L, Blade 19 3/8” L Collected prior to 2008, ex-Lacy Gallery (Vanna & Lee Lacy collection), Los Angeles CA. Lacy Gallery was founded upon six decades of collecting ethnographic and fine art. Lee Lacy was a distinguished Hollywood producer of iconic TV series and commercials.
