Philippines Bolo Sword, Pre-1900s - Southeast Asia, Philippines archipelagos. Probably Bicuco or Bikuko type sword with long slender single edge blade with a slight bulge, laminated steel. The collar in steel. Wood grip in a reddish-black patina and form of a fish with mouth agape. Size 26 1/4” L, blade 20” L For a similar example see, Penn Museum (Object # 142450) Ex-California Collection Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. Pitting to blade. Wear to grip from handling. Tip intact.
