Medieval ”Couter” Element of Armour, 3 Pieces - Group lot of three medieval elements of armour. Left an elbow in the gothic fluted style with two pierced holes at either side, probably 19th century (Higgins Armory Museum Inv (1122.2). Center element an additional elbow component for a period armour with light fluting in the gothic style, probably of the period (Higgins Armory Museum Inv #(828). Right most a complete elbow in the 16th century style with light fluting and engraving including a leather strap for use. Size of largest piece 7” W Ex-Southern California Collection, Ex-London Sale, Ex-Higgins Armory Museum Collection Condition: All in good useable condition constructed in the appropriate thickness and without modern techniques. Typical oxidization and wear commensurate with age and use.
