Signed Japanese WWII Gunto Katana & Scabbard, Seki Japan - Japanese Gunto Katana sword and scabbard, circa WWII (signed, Seki Japan). Textured ray skin and lacquer scabbard with gilt bronze and silvered cast mounts of traditional form with all fitting featuring a Mon to the sides or surfaces of five leafed flowers. Signed to the tang. Size sword 36” L, blade 26 1/2” L Condition: In overall soiled condition and having not been cleaned for an extended period of time to the exterior. Blade with typical handling signs but without significant damage or imperfections.
