Falling buffe Burgonet Helm, 16th c. style - European, German or English manufacture circa 1800s in the style of a 16th century helm. Falling Buffe burgonet with very high comb, two piece skull, full plate rear skull with plum holder and with lower lame, the lower haft hinged with a large assemble to either side to the forward cheek plates that retain a decorative rondel similar to breaths. The face visor held with locking hook to visor and in the falling buffe burgonet style with numerous ventilation breaths and cross pierced to top lame, the lower Gorget plates rolling steel edge and riveted in traditional style.
