Philippines Bolo Sword w/ Scabbard, Early 20th C. - Southeast Asia, Philippines Archipelagos, North Philippines region. Unusual pre-WWII Bolo sword with scabbard circa early 20th century. Double edged laminated steel blade with a reverse spine. D-Shaped guard in gilt brass with a collar in gilt brass. Handle in carabao horn with a split open or agape mouth pommel. Scabbard in wood with fiber wrapped bands. Size overall 28” L, blade 20 3/4” L Ex-California collection
