19th C. Indo-Persian Armour Set - 19th century Indo-Persian set of armour including a Khula Khud helmet, steel heavily incised Dhal shield and vambrace. The Khula Khud shield with prominent elongated spike finial, dule plume holders, adjustable ornate nasal guard and intact aventail mail. Helmet is incised with intricate floral and sun designs. Dhal shield incised with suns and felines atop a floral decoration. Shield's edge is bordered with brass strap and has four central scalloped bosses. Vambrace guard of matching incised motif. Size Shield 18 1/2” W, helmet stand included.
