Large WWII Moro Barong Sword with Scabbard - Sulu Archipelago or Mindanao, Philippines. Single edged large leaf shape blade narrowed to a sharp point. Silver banded hilt with cockatoo pommel. Original wood scabbard with incised detailing at the hilt. Size 26 1/2” L, blade 19 1/4” L. Condition: Loss to scabbard at hilt, loss to one side of pommel finial, stable fissure to the butt.
