Negrito Bolo Sword & Scabbard, Inscribed 1968 - Philippines Archipelagos, inscribed negrito bolo sword with scabbard circa 1968. Of typical form with a straight single edge blade with double edge point. Guard brass with light vertical engraving. Carabao horn handle with a faceted shape to grip and pommel area. Engraved / incised to the blade (NEGRITO BOLO 1968). Size 27” L, blade 20 1/2” L Private Southern California Collection Condition: Good condition with a thin layer of minimal oil to the blade for preservation, loss to tip of quillion on one side.
