Persian Qajar Enamel Khanjar Dagger, Circa 1865 - Extremely rare and highly desirable Persian, Qajar enamel Khanjar dagger, circa 1865. Fine 8 3/8th inch beautifully watered blade. The copper hilt and scabbard repousse and the recesses filled with green, red, white and blue enamel. Much of the enamel is missing or damaged but much remains and the colors remaining are splendid and vibrant. Restoration is possible. Daggers of this type and this one is 100% genuine of the period routinely sell in the five figures. 16 inches long overall in scabbard. Examples are very rare and hard to obtain in any condition.
