Indian All-Metal Khanjar Dagger, Late 19th C. - Beautiful Indian all metal dagger. Watered steel blade is 9 and 1/2 inches long, recurved and double edged with recessed panel over most of its length on both sides, the forte Damascened with large gold floret on each side. The classic Indian khanjar steel hilt of flattened oval section with pistol grip pommel Damascened throughout with symmetrical silver foliage of carnations. Some very minor wear to Damascene decoration and minuscule areas of period raised corrosion showing this dagger’s age. Size 14 1/4” L x 2 5/8” W Ex-International Arms and Armour Collection
