Japanese WWII Army Gunto Sword w/ 17th C. Blade - Fine Japanese WWII Army Gunto sword with period 17th century blade. Needs polish but some signs of a Ha or temper line are visible. Edge with knicks and wear commensurate with age and use. Heavy gilt bronze mounts and pierced tsuba with floral Mon and decoration. Original grip with ray skin wrapped over. Size 38 3/4” L, Blade 28 1/2” L Ex-Southern California Collection Condition: Tang not signed.
