Old Japanese Military Kyu-Gunto Sword & Scabbard - Japanese late 19th century sword with scabbard and floral patterns. Single edged curved blade with nickel finish or coating. Guard in gilt brass with two stamped marks to the section closes to the quillion. Additional three character mark to the area closes to the ricasso. Hinged side plate. Original ray skin grip in good condition with gilt brass or copper wire. Handle engraved with additional floral motifs and D Shaped guard to fitted pommel.
