Roman Quartz, Glass, Lapis & Gold Bead Necklace - Hefty Roman bead necklace comprised of period quartz, glass, Lapis Lazuli, and gold beads. Circa 200 BCE - 300 CE. Many impressive and very large beads including three big tear drop quartz stones surrounded by gold embossed beads in high karat gold. Numerous beads of lapis lazuli and glass in geometric, cylindrical, and fluted, faceted shapes strung with many gold embossed beads between. 33 beads in total with 17 in quartz/glass , 16 Lapis Lazuli, and 12 ancient gold beads with some gold washers and clasps between.
