Wonderful Silvered Bronze Statue of Mercury on Marble Base - Finely crafted silvered bronze statue depicting Hermes (Mercury), the classical messenger god, poised atop a slender column rising from the open mouth of a realistically sculpted human face. Hermes is detailed with a winged helmet, holding his iconic caduceus staff, his other arm stretched to the sky. The figure is mounted on a polished marble base, with lovely owl shaped brass or bronze plaques to the exterior.
