19th-20th C. Philippines Visayan Left Handed Tenegre Dagger - 19th. - 20th. century Visayan or Malay left handed Tenegre dagger with a ”F.S.” silver plated handle and gilt brass hardware. Banded wooden scabbard with silvered floral decorated cap. Brass crossguard leads to three silvered bands above two brass bands surrounding a wood handle. The brass is decorated with silver circular designs. A dual edged tip leads to a single edged blade with incised opposing half circle designs down the spine. Size 14” L, blade 9” L Condition: One side of handle with plate absent.
