Spanish Navaja Folding Knife, 18th-19th c. - Iberian Peninsula, Spanish Colonial Navaja fisherman's knife, 18th - 19th century. Favored by pirates and sailors during the period of sail. Beautiful large folding knife with a single edge blade, double edged to have the end length. Handle in brass mounts with bone & shell engraved panels.
