Moro Barong w/ Rare Inlaid Pommel, 20th C. - Filipino Moro barong sword and scabbard. Wide steel Leaf shaped blade terminates into brass collar and handle, 1st to 2nd quarter of the 20th century. Wood kakatua pommel ornately decorated with brass and colorful inlays. Pommel caged with inlaid and carved relief design composing the kakatua beak and crest. Wood scabbard elaborately incised to one side with floral motifs and circular metal inlay. Size 25” L, blade 16 1/2” L
