French Gilt Bronze & Porcelain Mantle Clock, Louis XVI-style - Fine and tall gilt bronze cased mantle clock with numerous inset panels of well painted porcelain. Case with broad leaf scrolling and two opposing faces at either side of the clock. Above a very ornate gilt embellished vase in porcelain. Lower most panel in blue and painted details of a county estate. Panel with two young courting figures in a lush garden. Clock face in blue painted porcelain with original glass hinged face. Vase above with a windmill scene and county house reverse. Bronze mounts with a female figure and ornate decoration. Label reverse from a jewelry service shop.
