Antique Nepali Beaded and Silver Wedding Necklace - Nepal, 19th to early 20th century. Composed of multiple strands of small ochre seed beads, joined at the front by a series of large repousse silver elements of lobed form. The strands gathered at the sides and secured with fiber cord. 18” L Ex-New Mexico Collection. Collection Amassed Prior to 1995 Condition: Surface with wear, oxidation to the silver, and minor losses consistent with age and use.
