Cameroon Bronze Currency Bracelet - Cameroon, 19th century. A large cast bronze or copper-alloy currency bracelet of substantial weight, the broad circular form decorated with raised spiral motifs around the rim, pierced openwork bands, and four projecting conical bosses. The surface retains a dark aged patina with areas of golden-bronze highlights from handling and wear. Size 6 1/2” W x 4” H, 3” W internal diameter, 8” H on included stand, 1726 grams.
