Cast bronze leopard-form figure with arched tail, open mouth with exposed teeth and tusk-like fangs, large leaf-form ears, incised circular spot decoration throughout, and suspension loop to the top of the head. Dark brown and green oxidized patina throughout. Size: 11 1/2” L.Weight: 5 lb. 12.8 oz. Family collection of an esteemed diplomat and ambassador amassed during travel and work circa 1960-1990s in the medical field providing charitable advanced medical care throughout the African continent and internationally.
