Heavily detailed throughout including an intertwined serpent to the midsection, interwoven banding around the base with snails crawling up to the serpent. The seat itself carries another story of creatures and symbols throughout all in beautiful high relief detailing. Size 20 7/8” W x 21 5/8” H Family collection of an esteemed diplomat and ambassador amassed during travel and work circa 1960-1990s in the medical field providing charitable advanced medical care throughout the African continent and internationally.
