Terracotta figural fragment of elongated tapering form, surmounted by a stylized head with prominent brow, projecting nose, and deeply modeled mouth above a ringed neck. The weathered earthen surface and attenuated proportions lend the work a strong archaic presence. Presented on a later stand. Height 7 1/2 in.
