Koma Builsa Seated Terracotta Ancient Figure - Terracotta molded statue depicts an anthromorphic figure in a seated position. Probably Koma in Northern Ghana style of the (13th to 16th century CE). Seated with stocky arms and hands resting on the knees or hips. The figure features delineated legs, a distinct face, and appears to wear a necklace or collar and possibly a cap or head covering. Hand built pottery terracotta with visible texture and some remaining pigment, possibly red slip. 8” height Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use
