1800s Archive - Cartes des Visites, Cabinet Cards - This collection was found in a old cigar box. A sheet contains the names and dates, of marriages, births, and deaths. The first reference based on date under marriages is from October 1792. The original name is Gardnir, but is shortened to Gard in the 1818 period. A large portion of the photos are from Hudson, New York. There is also Christmas cards, New Years cards, and postcards. All are in very good to fine condition. -We provide in house packing including materials, at no charge, on most items presented to help reduce costs for our patrons.
