3 Gallon Blue Decorated Stoneware Jug - No markers stamping. 1 slight chip in the opening right side by the handle. Some flaking of glaze in the opening area. Only stamped 3. Discoloration all over. Floral decoration color is a dark blue. Looks like white paint on the bottom edge in areas. Some chipping in areas. About 17 inches tall. Provenance: Acquired from a single owner private estate collection originating in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The collection was carefully stored in Slatington, Pennsylvania for approximately five years prior to being consigned to the auction house.
