2 Gallon Blue Decorated Stoneware Ovoid - No markings. Some discoloration in areas. Blue decoration is so dark it looks black. Handle has a hairline crack in it. Interesting at the right angle the center all the way around has a ribbed texture design to it. Cork is rattling around on the inside. no chips visible. About 14 inches tall. Provenance: Acquired from a single owner private estate collection originating in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The collection was carefully stored in Slatington, Pennsylvania for approximately five years prior to being consigned to the auction house.
