Applied Handle Open Pommel Early Glass Pitcher - Bubbles all over. Acid etching of pine trees with snow fzlling. Bottom is open pummel but not completely smooth out. Some roughness remains. Base has 2 long bubbles. At first they look like cracks. But looking closely you can see they are hollow like a bubble. appears to be no chips or damage. Provenance: Acquired from a single owner private estate collection originating in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The collection was carefully stored in Slatington, Pennsylvania for approximately five years prior to being consigned to the auction house.
