This work is a posthumous cast from the edition of 400 from the original sculpture created in 1921. Dimensions: 15 1/2”H x 21 3/4”W” X 9 1/2”D Condition: Very good, no issues seen. About the Artist: Georg Kolbe (1877–1947) was a leading German sculptor of the early 20th century, recognized for his expressive bronze figures rooted in classical form and modernist aesthetics. His work often emphasized movement, balance, and the human form. Kolbe’s sculptures continued to be cast posthumously from original molds, following traditional foundry practices under the supervision of his estate and collaborators.
