(6) Vinatge Japanese Woodblock Prints - Largest frame: 23” x 17 3/4” Average size of prints: 10” x 7”   Condition: Prints show light fading, surface wear, and paper toning.  Minor edge losses and one print with water damage along the lower margin. Several frames have small nicks, but the artwork remains in good overall condition.   Bio: Ukiyo-e is a Japanese art genre that flourished from the 17th through 19th centuries, known for its woodblock prints and paintings. It often depicts scenes of everyday life, landscapes, popular theatre, and pleasure districts. The name translates approximately as “pictures of the floating world.”
