The wiring is exposed on the bottom, and there is some oxidation on the underside of the cast-iron part.   About:  Greta Magnusson-Grossman (1906–1999) was a pioneering Swedish-born architect and designer, celebrated for her innovative contributions to mid-century modern furniture and lighting.
