Russian Silver Foil Icon of Christ Pantocrator (B) - The icon consists of the figure of Christ making a gesture of blessing and holding an open Gospel book with a silver foil casing. Includes wood and glass case.    Case: 11 3/4” T x 10 1/4” W  Icon: 8 3/4” T x 7” W   Condition: The icon is in very good condition, with slight blooming to painted elements. The silver is tarnished with apparent loss of gold gilding, but overall in very good condition. The case is fragile with wear, consistent with age. The interior frame is removable and has chips in the gold finishing.
