Olesya Sitnikova - A THREAT. acrylic on canvas, 38.5x64.5cm, 2017 About the artist: Sitnikova Olesya Vitalievna was born on April 8, 1991 in the city of Vladivostok. In 2010 she graduated from the Vladivostok Art School, department ”Design”. Olesya Vitalievna took part in international exhibitions-contests ”Art-Vladivostok” in 2013 and 2017, in 2015 she received the II place in the nomination ”Painting”. Since 2016, Olesya Sitnikova has been living and working in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. She is a teacher of painting and drawing at the Kamchatka College of Arts. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Also in March 2021, she held a personal exhibition ”Presentiment of Spring” at the ICB ”Affordable City” Sitnikova Olesya works in the genre of portrait and still life, and also writes plein air sketches and creative compositions.
