Mid-20th Century Anglo-Indian Hand-Carved Sheesham Nest of Four Tables - A mid-20th century set of four nesting tables of Anglo-Indian origin, crafted from solid sheesham hardwood. Each rectangular table features a hand-carved border of intricate floral and foliate patterns, accented by decorative corner motifs. The aprons and knees are further embellished with complementary relief carvings. The tables are supported by slender, turned legs joined by sturdy box stretchers. This set represents the mid-century tradition of South Asian craftsmanship adapted for the international market.
