The piece features four square tapered legs with a subtle out-sweep at the feet, supporting a simple apron and a drop-in seat. The seat is upholstered in a hand-worked needlepoint tapestry featuring a central multi-coloured floral bouquet of roses and mixed blooms within a delicate scrolling border, all set against a cream-coloured ground.
