Schuco and Japanese manufacture, Group of Three Mechanical Bird Toys, Plush and Lithographed Tin, Mid-20th Century - A group of three vintage clockwork bird toys. Includes a large mohair-style pecking bird, likely Schuco of Germany, featuring plush fabric over a metal frame with a felt tail; a small yellow plush hopping chick, likely Schuco or similar German manufacture, with felt beak and feet; and a brightly lithographed tin pecking bird, likely Japanese manufacture. All items date from the mid-20th century and feature clockwork wind-up mechanisms. One metal winding key is included. No original boxes are present.
