A Set of Four 19th Century Mahogany Dining Chairs in the Queen Anne Style - This matched set of four dining chairs is crafted from solid mahogany with a deep, polished finish. Each chair features a tall, waisted back with a sophisticated pierced central splat, intricately carved with a central rosette and radiating fan motifs. The design reflects a 19th-century revival of earlier Georgian aesthetics, combining the curvilinear form of the Queen Anne period with more ornate George III decorative elements. The chairs are supported by elegant cabriole front legs terminating in classic pad feet, balanced by gently splayed rear legs. The construction utilises traditional mortise and tenon joinery.
