G-Plan Fresco Mid-Century Teak Glazed Bookcase Display Cabinet - A mid-century teak glazed bookcase and display cabinet from the G-Plan Fresco range, manufactured by E. Gomme Ltd. This unit is the upper section of a modular wall unit system and would originally have been paired with a base cabinet. The left-hand side features twin glass doors within wooden frames, while the right-hand side comprises two solid teak cupboard doors. The cabinet retains its four original recessed circular wooden pull handles. The interior is fitted with wooden shelving. The piece is constructed from teak with visible grain patterns throughout, demonstrating the Scandinavian-influenced design prominent in British furniture during the 1960s and 1970s.
