Rutger Andersson for IKEA Niklas Shelving System - A Niklas shelving system designed by Rutger Andersson for IKEA during the 1990s. This modular unit is constructed with two tubular steel side supports in a silver-grey powder-coated finish, each featuring a distinctive arched top. It includes five rectangular shelves with a light beech-effect finish. The height of the shelves is adjustable, resting on black plastic brackets that integrate into a series of pre-drilled holes along the interior of the vertical supports. A small white label is present on the front edge of one shelf, though the characters are illegible.
