White & Newton Mid-Century Modern Teak Tallboy Chest of Six Drawers - A mid-century modern teak tallboy chest of six drawers. The carcase is constructed with teak veneers and features a vertical fluted decorative panel running the full height of the left side. The six drawers are each fitted with a wide, curved recessed solid wood pull handle. The piece is supported by four short, tapered legs. An adhesive gold-toned foil label is affixed to the interior side of a drawer. This rectangular label bears printed text reading hite & Newto with a superscript d, and the word PORTSMOUTH printed in a smaller font below. The label is partially torn on the left side, obscuring the initial letter of the manufacturer name.
