A late Victorian mahogany mirror-back hall stand - A late Victorian mahogany mirror-back hall stand. The upper section features a rectangular mirror plate set within a frame surmounted by a decoratively carved scrollwork pediment. It is fitted with four double-pronged metal hat and coat hooks and a vertical gallery of turned spindles. The mid-section incorporates a single small central drawer with a decorative metal drop handle, flanked by shaped support brackets. The base comprises a two-bay umbrella and stick stand with a removable black-painted metal drip tray, supported by turned front legs and straight back supports. A small white rectangular adhesive tag is affixed to the left side of the mirror frame; the text on this tag is not legible. No maker name or other marks are visible.
