A mid-20th century Jacobean Revival oak fall-front bureau - An oak fall-front bureau constructed in the Jacobean Revival style. The writing slope features three relief-carved arched panels and a brass-finished escutcheon. The interior is fitted with a centrally arranged series of vertical pigeonholes flanked by two small drawers, each with a brass pull handle. The lower section consists of two short drawers positioned above a single long drawer, all finished with brass drop-ring handles. The piece is supported by bulbous turned legs joined by a four-way stretcher, featuring a decorative scalloped front apron. The carcase is finished with a dark oak stain showcasing the grain. A small rectangular white adhesive label is present on the left side of the fall-front; the text on this label is not legible.
