The clear glass font is decorated with an etched foliate pattern and is fitted with a brass burner assembly containing a wick. The lamp is surmounted by a large globular glass shade exhibiting a frosted and clear etched floral and scrollwork design. A small white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the lower portion of the glass shade with the handwritten characters 12573 and D. No maker marks or country of origin marks are visible on the object.
