A Glazed Ceramic Owl Teapot - A glazed ceramic teapot modelled as a stylised tawny owl perched upon a branch. The vessel features a heavily textured surface of overlapping, scale-like feathers and is finished in a variegated palette of brown, ochre, and yellow glazes. The lid is integrated into the top of the head, which is detailed with large, prominent circular eyes with white surrounds and black pupils. The handle is formed as a continuation of the textured branch base. A white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the lid, bearing the handwritten characters 12868 and d. No other marks or signatures are visible.
